Overview: The Cyber Security
Research Alliance, Inc. (CSRA) is an industry-led, non-profit consortium
focused on research and development strategy to address evolving cyber security
environment through partnerships among government, industry, and academia. This
effort was established in response to the growing need for increased
public-private collaboration to address R&D issues in cyber security. The
founding members of the CSRA are Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), Honeywell
International, Inc., Intel Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and RSA,
the Security Division of EMC.
Goals:
Specifically, the CSRA is dedicated to working to:·
Address “grand challenges” in cyber security: Facilitate the development of R&D
strategies for protecting digital content and information technology networks
and systems.

Track cyber security R&D activities: Enhance models for public-private
information sharing and collaboration to address current and emerging cyber
security threats to national security.

Transfer technology: Enhance collaboration in cyber security R &D to accelerate
innovation and time to market for new technologies
